Online Course - Troubleshooting / Frequently Asked Questions:

  • I can’t open attachments in my online course.
If using a laptop/desktop - This is usually caused by using an unsupported browser such as Internet Explorer or Safari. Switch to Google Chrome, and this issue will resolve. You can download Chrome here: https://www.google.com/chrome/browser/desktop/index.html. There is also a link in your confirmation email.

If you have Google Chrome: If you are clicking on the link in the email to reach your course, you are opening it in your default browser, which may be Internet Explorer or Safari. Instead,
  1. Click on your Chrome icon.
  2. Go to https://www.caionline.org and click on the "Sign in" link at the top right. enter your email and your CAI password.
  3. When the homepage reloads, click on “My CAI" at the top right of the page, and select "My Online Learning."
If you are not able to use Chrome at work, you can use Firefox, Edge, or another supported browser. If you are using a tablet /iPad or other mobile device, you might consider changing to a laptop or desktop, then follow the instructions in your confirmation email.

  • How do I get to my course without using the link in the email?
  1. Visit https://www.caionline.org and click on the "Sign in" link at the top right. Enter your email and your password.
  2. When the homepage reloads, click on “My CAI" at the top right of the page, and select "My Online Learning."
  3. If there is no link, your course may be expired. Contact caieducation@caionline.org for information or to request a one-time extension. We will respond during business hours.

  • I have completed some modules, but the dots to the left of them aren’t turning green to indicate that I have finished them.
The color of the dots by the modules won’t affect your ability to finish the course and take the exam. If you are doing well on the quizzes, you aren’t missing anything.

  • Where can I find my certificate for my completed online course?
  1. Go to https://www.caionline.org and click on the "Sign in" link at the top right. Enter your email and your password.
  2. When the homepage reloads, click on “My CAI" at the top right of the page, and select "My Classes and Events."
  3. If you don't see a link to it there, contact caieducation@caionline.org for assistance. We will respond during business hours.

  • I haven't received the course guide/manual yet.
Our printed course materials are shipped every Friday from our vendor, and may take up to 10 business days after that you register to reach you. (Please note there are no print materials for the M-300, M-320, and M-350 online courses). Our online courses contain all the materials you need online, so you don't need the printed materials to start or finish the course - please proceed to take the course. They are intended as review materials after you finish the course. If you don't receive your guide within 12 business days of registering, contact caieducation@caionline.org for assistance. We will respond during business hours.

  • When does my course expire?
Your course expiration date is on your My Learning page, to the right of the course link. Your course will expire at Midnight Eastern Time on the date listed.

  • Can you tell me which answers I got wrong on my exam?
We don’t give out information on the answers to our exams. The quizzes are intended to let you know where you need to review.


On-Demand Webinar - Troubleshooting / Frequently Asked Questions:

  • Where can I find my certificate for my completed webinar?
Login at https://www.caionline.org
On the top right, click on "My CAI," and select "My Events and Classes." You will see a list of your classes, and links to download certificates.

  • I watched the webinar, but I don't see a certificate link. (Free webinars will not issue a certificate)
You must complete the webinar evaluation in order to see the link to the certificate.

  1. Re-launch the webinar.
  2. Click on the "Webinar Evaluation" link on the left, under the title of the webinar.
  3. Complete the survey
  4. On the top right, click on "My CAI," and select "My Events and Classes." You will see a list of your classes, and links to download certificates.

  • Where do I find the course slides and other documents and web links included in the webinar?
Click on the "Resources" link when logged into the webinar.

  • Other people watched the webinar with me. Can they get a certificate of participation?
You are free to show the webinar to others, however, only people who have registered for the webinar will receive a certificate of participation. If they registered, they will need to login to their online learning page to launch the webinar and complete the evaluation.

  • How can I tell how many continuing education credits a webinar is worth?
There is one credit per hour run time for the webinars. Most last one hour, some are 1.5 hours. You can see the credits listed within the description for each webinar titles in the catalog: http://cai.mycrowdwisdom.com/diweb/catalog.


Live Webinar - Troubleshooting / Frequently Asked Questions

  • I missed the live webinar. How can I view the recorded version?
The on-demand recording will be available at the same link on your online learning page, no later than 48 hours after the live webinar.

  • I had trouble logging in to the live webinar, and called CAI for assistance. I was given a direct link, and watched the webinar. I don't see a certificate link on my activities page.
You will need to login to your online learning page to launch the webinar once the on-demand recording is available (it will be available no later than 24 hours after the live webinar). Complete the evaluation, and your certificate link will appear on the CAI website under "My CAI," and "My Events and Classes."

  • I logged in and watched the live webinar, but I don't see a certificate link.
You must complete the webinar evaluation in order to complete the webinar and see the link to the certificate.
