Matt D. Ober is a principal of Richardson Ober Denichilo where his practice is dedicated to the exclusive representation of community associations throughout California. Matt has served as counsel to community associations for nearly thirty years and has made significant contributions to the Community Association industry through both the Community Associations Institute (CAI) and the California Association of Community Managers (CACM). Matt is a member of CAI’s National Faculty, and a CACM faculty member. He is a Fellow of CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL) and is currently serving as President of the College. Matt is also a Delegate to CAI's California Legislative Action Committee (CLAC) and former Legislative Co-Chair of CLAC’s Executive Committee. He also serves on CAI National’s Government and Public Affairs Committee.
Matt is a co-author of CAI’s California Law Course for Community Association Managers and CAI’s Board Education Course and CAI National’s L-100 course “Essentials of Community Association Law.” In addition, Matt has earned the Martindale-Hubbell “AV” peer review rating signifying the highest rating in legal ability and ethical standards, and has been named to Super Lawyers 2020 as exhibiting excellence in the Practice of Law.
Katie Anderson, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, founded Aperion Management Group, AAMC, in Bend, Ore., in 2009. Born and raised in Central Oregon, Katie began her property management career in California over 17 years ago, beginning by managing high density condos. Katie found her passion managing master planned communities due to the challenges these communities present. As a founding member of the Central Oregon Chapter of CAI and president of the council for two years, Katie helps support the growth of the Central Oregon Community.
Shaun Hannay is the President of the Summit Crest Owners Association. He is a husband, father of two adult children, and outdoor enthusiast. He has enjoyed a thirty-year career in business in both upstate New York and Oregon. He currently works as Vice President of Sales for a construction company in Redmond, Oregon. Shaun enjoys good food, travel, hunting, fishing, and teaching in his local church. He and his wife of 28 years enjoy serving in leadership positions in their local community.
