Improper reserve funding has a direct impact on an association’s ability to protect, maintain, and enhance community assets. When community associations fail to establish adequate reserve funds or rely on inaccurate useful life and cost information for planning purposes, significant increases in reserve contributions or additional assessments to cover the cost of near-term critical projects may be required. Unfortunately, these scenarios are all too common throughout the community association industry. This presentation will highlight the key findings and results of several recent reserve studies. Learn more about common reserve funding issues that could be avoidable with proper planning.
