George Nowack has dedicated his entire legal career to representing community associations and championing fair housing laws. Nowack began representing associations in 1981 at the law firm Hyatt & Rhoads, PC, which was one of the first firms in the U.S. to represent community associations. In 1991, he founded the community association practice at Weissman, Nowack, Curry & Wilco, PC in Georgia where he practiced for 25 years. Nowack and his law partner Julie Howard formed NowackHoward, LLC in October 2016 where he currently practices. Nowack is a CAI past president and a fellow in CAI’s College of Community Association Lawyers (CCAL).
Lisa A. Magillis board certified in condominium and planned development law. Magill is currently a shareholder at Kay Bender Rembaum, PL in Pompano Beach, Fla. During her career, she has counseled community associations throughout Florida. In 2015, she was appointed by the Southeast Florida Chapter of Community Associations Institute as a Florida Legislative Alliance (CAI-FLA) delegate. She is also a CCAL fellow.
