Michael Galvin is director of consulting at SavATree, a Registered Consulting Arborist and recipient of the 2011 True Professionals award from the International Society of Arboriculture. This award is presented annually to arborists and tree care professionals who have made a positive impact on the industry and in their communities. He is also a co-principal investigator for the National Science Foundation's Chesapeake Bay ULTRA-Ex grant, former co-principal investigator for the Baltimore Ecosystem Study, and the author of dozens of publications on arboriculture and urban forestry nationwide.
