If you encounter difficulty with viewing items in this web-based product, you may first want to try using a different browser.

I. Education Center

  • Search the Education Center items and content by typing in one or more keywords.
  • Browse by selecting from the list provided.
  • Quick Links take you directly to a collection of items in the catalog or to a specific feature or to a page on the IAPP website.
  • Welcome displays the CAI welcome message for the Education Center.
  • My Messages displays messages from the Education Center and/or other learners.
  • Featured Product displays the featured product that the Education Center has chosen.
  • Poll displays the lasted poll from the Education Center.
  • My Enrollments lists all the learning items in which you have enrolled. Click any title for details.
  • Featured Event Displays the featured event of the Education Center.

II. Catalog Features

  • Catalog displays 10 items per page, with a link for details (including an abstract, keywords, and a longer description), length of the subscription, and the price. An enroll button adds the item to your shopping cart. You then have the option to choose "continue shopping" or "go to checkout."
  • Credits display the continuing education credits available.
  • Refine search: Click to search by keyword and title or by the content of the abstract and description. Use quotation marks around titles or phrases (e.g., "code of conduct").
  • View cart takes you to your shopping cart, where you can confirm your purchase at checkout, or remove an item from your cart.

III. Community Features

  • Ask a Question: Allows user to pose a question to the audience or answer a question that has already been posted.
  • Peer Connect: Allows user to search for a peer and/or find someone with a similar interest or background.
  • Discussion: Allows user to have threaded discussions for deeper social interaction on specific topics of interest.

IV. My Learning Features

  1. The Enrolled and Grades tabs lists each item in which you have enrolled. It shows a grade, if available, the time you have spent in the course, the status (in progress or completed), the start date of your subscription, and the date your subscription to the course expires. Items may be sorted by column headings by clicking on that heading.

    • View Details for each item shows the description and keywords.
    • Launch lets you begin the course. If you have already begun the course, you will have an option to go to the point you left off or start from the beginning.
    • Grade is shown only for items that have a required pass/fail threshold.
    • Credit(s) displays credits earned for that course.
