This session covers the practical and legal handling of complaints, breedspecific regulations, the drafting and enforcement of regulations, pet amenities and “pets” as service, assistant and therapy animals.
Speakers:
Laura Brandow, Marcus, Errico, Emmer & Brooks PC, is an associate in the firm’s Condominium Practice Group, concentrating her practice on condominium bankruptcy and foreclosures for residential, commercial and time-share condominiums. She also represents lenders in closings, foreclosures, bankruptcies, loan workouts and REO transactions..
Carmen Rowe, Partner, Gryphon Law Group PS graduated from Columbia Law School with honors and a Certificate from the Parker School in International Law in 1998, with a practice specifically focusing on real estate and business for the last 15 years. Carmen has increasingly focused on Association law over the last seven years, serving both associations and homeowners. Carmen has held a wide range of volunteer positions with real-estate organizations and sections, and regularly organizes and presents at continuing legal education courses forboth lawyers and real estate professionals. Carmen's clients include associations, project managers, realtors and mortgage brokers handling association issues on a regular basis. With respect to animals and associations, Carmen offers extensive experience in the legalities and realities of animal-related businesses and business interests.
