Speakers
Michael Kim, Esq. His practice is focused on condominium and homeowner association law, construction law, real estate law and civil litigation. He has been involved in condominium practice for close to 40 years. He has personally handled a wide range of litigation, including developer transition claims, construction defect claims, contract disputes, enforcement of declaration/bylaws/rules by injunction actions, financial mismanagement claims, consumer fraud claims, civil rights/discrimination charges, directors and officers liability defense, commercial lease disputes, sexual harassment claims, employment grievances, constitutional issues, assessment collection, easement disputes, and mixed use development disputes.
Jeff Kerrane, Esq. has more than 20 years of experience in construction defect litigation. Prior to joining the firm, he was a partner at the Burdman Law Group in Nevada and at the Law Offices of Cisneros & Kerrane in California. Additionally, Jeff is a member of CAI’s Legislative Action Committee which furthers legislation in support of homeowners and community associations. Jeff has testified before state legislative committees regarding homeowner issues. In 2012, Jeff joined a state bar delegation to visit Cuba for the purpose of researching the country’s legal system.
Matthew Pearson Esq.has over 20 years of experience litigating matters in federal and state courts throughout Texas and the United States. He has extensive experience in cases involving insurance law, construction defects, business disputes and employment law, and has earned a reputation for successfully representing his clients in the courtroom. Mr. Pearson was recognized by Verdict Search for receiving the largest insurance verdict in Texas two years in a row-2011 and 2012. Verdict Search also recognized Mr. Pearson for receiving the fifth largest contract dispute verdict in Texas in 2014 and the second largest employment verdict in Texas in 2012.
