Presenters:
Christa Brady, AMS, PCAM, joined USI in 2019 as a vice president for the community association insurance practice. Prior to joining USI, she spent 14 years as an executive manager within the community association industry. With an extensive background working with condominium and cooperative boards of directors, Christa possesses a very select skill set and expertise in developing comprehensive insurance and risk management programs designed to meet the unique needs of community associations.
Christa is an executive committee member and treasurer of the CAI Washington Metropolitan Chapter Board of Directors. In 2021, she received the Chapter’s Rising Star award and, in 2022, she received a Special Recognition Award for her service to its policy task force committee. She also is an active member of the CAI Chesapeake Chapter, where she serves as chair of the education committee.
Doug is a frequent speaker, educator, and writer on the subject of community association insurance and risk management. In 2011, he co-authored and co-presented CAI’s first webinar on the subject of directors and officers liability insurance coverage and has contributed articles to Common Ground magazine.
Doug served on the CAI Washington Metropolitan Chapter Board of Directors from 2000–2006. Prior to serving on the board, he served as chair of the chapter’s membership & marketing committees and also as a member of the chapter’s education committee. Doug worked on a chapter task force to develop its e-learning course for association leaders and was one of the first recipients of CAI’s Community Insurance & Risk Management Specialist (CIRMS) designation. In 2013, he was inducted into the chapter Hall of Fame.
