Julie R. BalbinI, Esq., has been a member of the California State Bar since 2000 and is the managing shareholder of the Coachella Valley office of Fiore Racobs & Powers. Julie is a Past President of the Desert Bar Association, having previously served as Vice President, Secretary, and Treasurer, along with many years as a Trustee. She has served on the board and is a past president of CAI-Coachella Valley Chapter (CAI-CV), served on their Programs and Social Media Committees, and regularly speaks on CID-related topics.

Karen J. Sloat, Esq., has a law career spanning over 35 years in many practice areas, and in three states – California, Colorado, and Hawaii. Her focus on labor and employment law for over 20 years in Riverside County, CA has given her the expertise to handle claims of complex wage and hour violations, discrimination and harassment, employment contracts, fraud and all other employment-related issues. As a zealous litigator in individual and class action lawsuits, Ms. Sloat has a vast knowledge of professions, occupations and business issues that enhances her valuable legal advice to all her own firm’s clients. She is also a certified mediator and volunteers time to mediate court cases and support nonprofits in her area.
