Program Description
This is a nuts and bolts approached to teach the new practitioner the basics of insurance for community associations as seen from the eyes of the insurance agent, the community association attorney and the claims representative. A step by step practical approach will be provided.
Speakers
Jason E. Fisher, Esq. is a shareholder with the law firm of Lerch, Early & Brewer, Chtd. in Bethesda, Maryland, and is admitted to practice in Maryland and the District of Columbia. Mr. Fisher has practiced with the community association department of the firm for over twelve years and currently serves on the firm’s management committee and is the co-chair of the community association practice group. He litigates cases before administrative agencies, trial and appellate courts, and represents clients in mediation proceedings.
Ron Wright is currently a Partner and Vice President at Mike Menath Insurance, Inc., and has specialized in Business and Homeowners Association Insurance since 1997. Mr. Wright has been a member of the Northern Nevada Chapter of CAI since 2001. He served as a CAI Board Member from 2003 to 2008, has been named CAI Business Partner of the Year twice (2001 and 2008,) and was recipient of the Gary Lein Award for Outstanding Service to CAI in 2009.
