Speakers:
- T. Peter Kristian, CMCA, LMS, PCAM, Hilton Head Plantation Property Owners Association, Inc., Hilton Head Island, SC; joined the staff of Hilton Head Plantation as its General Manager in February of 2000. Prior to his arrival to Hilton Head Plantation Peter was with the Montgomery Village Foundation, a large-scale, self-managed Home Owners Association in suburban Maryland, for sixteen years.
- Lewis Chip Munday, CMCA, AMS, PCAM, Indigo Run Community Owners Association, Hilton Head Island, SC; is General Manager of the Indigo Run Community Owners Association in Hilton Head Island, South Carolina. Chip previously managed Pagosa Lakes Property Owners Association in Pagosa Springs, Colorado and River Valley RanchMaster Association in Carbondale, Colorado. He has served as a member of the Large-Scale Managers Committee of CAI from 2013-2015, and is currently on the Large-Scale Managers Education Committee. Chip authored an article titled An Ounce of Prevention and Preparation which appeared in the January 2013 issue of Common Ground magazine which addressed the essential elements of planning and execution in the event of disasters, both natural and man-made.
- J. David Ramsey, Esq., Becker & Poliakoff, P.A., Morristown, NJ; is a shareholder in the law firm of Becker & Poliakoff, LLP, in Morristown, New Jersey. David has practiced law since 1976, with his areas of specialty in community association law, land use and development. David is a past president of the Community Associations Institute, a national educational and advocacy association for community associations, and a past president of the New Jersey Chapter of CAI. He served as the chair of CAI’s Government and Public Affairs Committee from 2008 through 2016 and remains a member.
