Discover management best practices for social media guidelines and how to speak to the press, how to navigate emerging platforms like Nextdoor, and how to approach the rise of citizen journalism.
Speakers:
- Javier Delgado, Esq., Carpenter, Hazlewood, Delgado & Bolen, LLP, Tempe, AZ; is a lawyer who represents homeowner associations and condominium associations, businesses and non-profit organizations throughout Arizona, New Mexico and Utah. Javier has been featured in the New York Times, the Arizona Republic, Phoenix New Times newspapers and is a monthly contributor to the “All Things Real Estate” radio show on KVSF 101.5 FM in Santa Fe, New Mexico.Javier presented “Drones and HOA’s: What You Need to Know” at the CAI National Conference in 2017 and “Collections without Foreclosure – Part I: A Primer on Successful Alternatives” at the CAI National Conference in 2005. Javier has presented “Crying Fowl:Community Associations and the Urban Chicken Farming Movement”, as a CAI National webinar in 2014. Javier has also presented at the Central Arizona Chapter, Southern Arizona Chapter and New Mexico Colony luncheons and is also a CAI Board Essentials instructor.
- Connor Doyle, AMS, PCAM, RTI/Community Management Associates, Dallas, TX is currently a Vice President with RTI/CMA Management in Dallas, TX . He was formerly with Sentry Management as Vice President in Phoenix, AZ and a former Principal of CID Management, Inc., also located in Phoenix, AA.In addition to his work with Sentry Management, Connor is active in his local CAI chapter as a member of the Legislative Action Committee, and is working toward joining the national faculty. Before entering the community association world in 2005, Connor was a professional journalist, working in Arizona, Idaho and Rome, Italy.
