Daniel J. Haumann, CMCA, is President of Advocate Property Management, an Association Management company based in Naperville, IL. Dan is also a Principal Consultant for Advocate Technology Acceleration, an Information Technology Infrastructure Consulting Organization. Before creating his own company, Dan was a founding member of Ahead, a Chicago-based IT Infrastructure Consulting Company. Prior to Ahead, Dan held Senior IT Management positions in several large enterprises, including Home Depot, Sears, and CNA Insurance. Dan has over 30 years of IT experience and over 10 years of Real Estate and Association Management experience. Dan is currently a member of Community Association Institute (CAI), the Association of Condominium, Townhome, and Homeowners Associations (ACTHA), the National Association of Residential Property Managers (NARPM), and the National Association of REALTORS (NAR). He is a Licensed Community Association Manager and Managing Broker in the State of Illinois. He owns and operates two offices in the Chicago Metra area, focusing on Association Management, Rental Management, and Maintenance, and he is currently Treasurer of the Chicagoland Chapter of the National Association of Residential Property.
