Speakers:
David J. Mistick, President of Circumspex Disaster Planning, Orlando, FL, as more than 30-years of experience in property management, construction, disaster planning and recovery. Coauthor of "Before Disaster Strikes – Developing the Emergency Procedures Plan," published by the Institute of Real Estate Management. David has been recognized nationally by the Restoration Industry Association for his innovative "fast-track" restoration processes. He has managed and consulted on disasters throughout the United States. David is a Certified Property Manager and a Certified Business Resilience Manager. He speaks regularly at restoration and insurance industry events and is an accredited Continuing Education instructor in five states.
Frank Russo is Executive Vice President of Procor Solutions + Consulting, LLC., leading the firm's strategy, process, analytics and technology platforms for business resiliency solutions, including: disaster planning, asset and business interruption risk valuations, disaster response mitigation, asset security, forensic accounting, claim preparation, forensic valuation appraisal, litigation support and leveraging industry resources for the greater community during an area-wide disaster. Mr. Russo was the group Managing Director of Aon Property Risk Consulting, a North American practice of approximately 100 property risk professionals specializing in risk control and engineering, insurance valuations, disaster response coordination, claim advocacy, and claim preparation and forensic accounting. Mr. Russo has assisted clients in the mitigation and recovery of large scale disasters such as the terrorist acts of 9/11/01, Hurricane Katrina, the 2004 Hurricane Season in Florida, the Gulf Oil Disaster, Japan Earthquake/Tsunami and Superstorm Sandy. Mr. Russo is a recognized global thought leader in his field and frequently publishes articles and speaks on topics in all areas of disaster management and commercial property loss mitigation.
James G. Wills, SRM-Cat, New London, CT, is a Certified Continuity Manager and has been the Director of Commercial Loss Solutions for two of North America's largest restoration and recovery organizations. Committed to the importance of disaster planning, he has established pre-loss agreements with many industry groups, including but not limited to hospitality, retail, healthcare, manufacturing, and educational institutions. Jim has worked on disaster sites like the Chicago Financial District flood in 1992 and the Midwest floods in 1993, and also managed the restoration efforts at the Pentagon after the September 11 terrorist attacks. More recently he has been responsible for coordinating and triaging losses for clients during the hurricanes in 2004, 2005, and 2008.
