Speakers
Janet Powers, Senior Shareholder at Fiore, Racobs & Powers, is a member of the Orange County Bar Association and Community Associations Institute (CAI). She is a member of the prestigious College of Community Association Lawyers of CAI (CCAL) and has served on the Editorial Board of the CCAL Journal of Community Association Law. She was the President of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Regional Chapter of CAI in 2001. She has also served on all of the Chapter Committees, and is past chair of the Programs, Finance, Education, and Media committees. Ms. Powers has received several Chapter awards, including the Chapter's highest award, the May Russell Award, for her service to the Chapter in 2002, the President's award in 2003, and the Ellen Ellish Hall of Fame Award in 2005.
Margaret 'Gen' Wangler, Supervising Attorney at Fiore, Racobs & Powers, is a member of the Desert Bar Association, Soroptimist International of Cathedral City - Rancho Mirage and the Community Associations Institute (CAI). She serves on the Education Committee and on the faculties for CAI's education courses and has served on the Chapter’s Board of Directors. She currently serves on the Steering Committee of the Legal Advisory Committee of CACM, and has served on the CACM faculty for continuing education courses for several years. Ms. Wangler was the recipient of the CAI's Coachella Valley Chapter's Outstanding Member of the Year award in 1999, the Chapter’s Distinguished Service Award in 2000, and the Hall of Fame Award in 2007 and 2011.
