More and more suits are filed against us as a result of the collection work we do for our clients. In this advanced session, we explore three things most of us do each day and how they can eventually lead to lawsuits. We also examine court decisions and regulatory actions to help you develop strategies to implement at your firm. You’ll learn about the meaningful involvement doctrine, claims based on the validity of fees and interest, the bona fide error defense and more.
Special Note: This program is a recorded education session from the 2015 CAI Law Seminar.
