Speakers
Lincoln Hobbs, Governor, College of Community Association Lawyers, of Hobbs & Olson LC, is active in numerous professional and community service projects, having served for years as a member of the Utah State Bar's Ethics and Discipline Panel, and as an officer of the Utah State Bar Labor and Employment Section, of which he served as chair in 2002-03. Lincoln is also the founder and past president of the Utah Chapter of the Community Associations Institute (CAI), an organization dedicated to fostering vibrant, responsive, competent community associations. In the Spring of 2003, the Community Associations Institute gave Lincoln the Award of Excellence in Chapter Leadership, in recognition of his service to the Community Associations Institute and the Utah community association industry.

Karin S. Hobbs, President of Hobbs Mediation, is a professional mediator for the past 16 years, is known for her ability to close complex and emotionally charged cases. She has mediated over 4,000 cases, including complex commercial cases, class actions, family cases involving substantial assets and contested custody, catastrophic injury, personal injury, insurance, probate, construction, employment and appellate cases. She has co-mediated several complex multi-party cases. Ms. Hobbs is currently mediating a class action involving several state agencies.
