Speakers
Patrick Munoz, Esq, Partner, Rutan & Tucker. Mr. Muñoz is the Co-Chair of the Government Relations Department and a partner in the firm's Government & Regulatory Law Section where he has been practicing since joining the firm in 1989. His practice emphasis includes a wide variety of legal matters, both litigation and transactional, encountered in the representation of public entities and private individuals and organizations dealing with governmental agencies. Mr. Muñoz is readily familiar with all aspects of general municipal affairs and the myriad of state and federal statutes, regulations and case decisions which regulate local governmental agencies, and those who do business with them. He currently serves as the City Attorney for the cities of Dana Point and Twentynine Palms and Assistant City Attorney for the cities of San Juan Capistrano and Adelanto. He has previously served as the City Attorney for Adelanto, and Assistant City Attorney in the cities of San Fernando, West Covina and Baldwin Park.
Thomas M. Ware II, Esq. Tom Ware is a partner of Kulik Gottesman Siegel & Ware LLP. For the past twenty four years, Mr. Ware’s practice has focused on the representation of non-profit homeowners associations, their volunteer directors and officers, and HOA property managers. He has extensive experience in representing common interest developments, non-profit homeowners associations, and their volunteer directors in connection with general corporate issues, real estate matters, litigation, insurance, fidelity bond claims, and appellate matters. Mr. Ware was one of the attorneys of record for the prevailing parties in the landmark California Supreme Court case Nahrstedt v. Lakeside Village Condominium Association which established the legal framework and standards for enforcing CC&R provisions.
